So I am posting at request of my friend Jocelyn. Today while we both at work, she g'chated me, asking when my next blog post would be. And then offered to write a guest post for the enjoyment of all 3 people who read this ahah. So stay tuned for that, and if anyone else wants to use my blog as a stage, let me know!
Ok, so things have been crazy. Friday and Saturday morning, I spent galavanting with Steph while she was here, and then Saturday afternoon I went to Brooklyn to see Harry Potter! Now, people my ask, why go all the way to Brooklyn? My ticket was $8, where the theater near me in Manhattan was $15. That difference bought my dinner at a cute Mexican restaurant in Park Slope with Rose and Stacie.
Sunday I didn't do much. Visited Jocelyn in her sweet apartment in the financial district, bought some food, tried fixing the internet. Which has major issues at my apartment.
Then Tuesday, Stacey was here, so a bunch of us met up at South Street Seaport. Which was fun. But it took me an hour to get home. I hate the AC line so much. Why are there no local trains? Why? Why does it run so infrequently? I also encountered the same issues visiting Jocelyn. Ughhh
So I wish I could be insightful and witty right now, but I'm exhausted. I had a phone date with Carissa last night, and she was saying her boss and everyone would check on her, make sure she doesn't work too much. Mine do that too, but shit needs to get done. And we have clients, and ahh. I really love my job. I love the people I work with, I love my clients (they are so much fun), and I love what I actually do. I am so fortunate to be able to say that.
I got my laptop in the mail today! Too tired to deal with setting it up, because oh wait, it's basically blank. Good bye anything I worked on since April, since that's the last time I updated my portable hard drive.
Oh, and Steph, I tried ordering you a Crumbs cupcake for your birthday! They deliver! But it costs a gazillion dollars, and the website is pissing me off. AKA, I can't actually figure out how it works. Which is sad, because I'm not that stupid. So next time you're here, I'll buy you one! haha
ok, bed time. there was a point today my brain just stopped working. I think it was 645. That's when I started packing up.
con amor
